Myra was born in Guilford County on December 13, 1959 to the late Walter and Frances Cox Coltrane. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, cooking and spending time with her canine companion Sally Sue.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Jeffrey S. Hargett; her son, Bradly Hargett and his wife, Tonya; her daughter, Latisha and her husband Michael Chapman; sisters, Cindy Cox and her husband, Ricky; Nina Rea Coltrane; Tiffany Freeman and her husband, Rodney; Pamela Coltrane; brothers, Junior Coltrane; T.J.
