Favorite School Memory	Spring Concert 2000. Mrs. Evenson made her dramatic comeback, having missed the previous concert due to breaking her arm. We had a tradition that I would imagine is still in place to this day at Eastern---to give her a "Senior Gift" for her to remember us by. We decided that for our "gift", we were going to give her elbow pads. I saw someone take his off of his arm when his name was called to receive his senior choral award, and that gave me an idea. Now, the idea itself wasn't mine, but because I was the one who did this, I take the credit---kind of--for the laughter; she calls my name, and when I walk up to get it, I forget to take off the second one, which I had put on to add to the humor. When I started to go back to my spot, with my award, SEVERAL other students were calling out to me in whispers: "Matt---Matt---Matt;" they were trying to tell me that I was still wearing the other one.
