Went into the Army just 2 weeks after graduating JFK. Served as a Medical Specialist during my first 4 years then Finance Corps for the remaining years. Served in Korea with 3 tours of duty for 4 years and 1 tour of Germany for 3 years. Have gone from the west coast at Fort Ord (Monterrey area), California and Fort Lewis (Tacoma), Washington, to Saint Louis, Missouri and the east coast in Massachusetts and South Carolina. Never got assiged to Fitzimmons the Army Medical Center in Denver or Colorado Springs, and wished that I had a chance to go to either place for duty. Had fun overall and no regrets in my choice for being in the military. One of my better choices that I had made in my life.
