About Me	I spend 30 years teaching in Wapato, Sunnyside, Moxee and Tacoma. I was a Title 1/Chapter 1 reading specialist most of that time and loved it. My last year, I taught full-day kindergarten and I was more than ready to retire by the end of that year! I retired in 2008 and stayed home (most of the time) to care for my mother-in-law, Opal Carrell, who lived with us until she was 96. She passed away in January of 2011. My husband, Dave, is retired also, and we spent last winter in Bullhead City, AZ, and are leaving Sept. 10 to go back down. We're driving through Yellowstone, the Tetons, Jackson Hole and the Canyonlands in southern Utah on our way down. Our RV is stored in Bullhead City.
