Army, 37 Years
Commissioned Infantry in 1963 via ROTC at UT Knoxville. Graduated Ranger, Airborne, Special Forces, Jumpmaster, Military Free Fall, SF Combat Diver, and others. Served in Viet Nam and Iraq. Served with 6th, 5th and 10th SF Groups, SF Command, Spec Ops Cmd, Spec Ops Cmd Korea and others. Branch transferred to Special Forces Branch when SF was made a seperate branch. Charter member of SF Regiment. After two recalls to Active Duty retired for the third time in 2010. Still miss it.
