Kaylin Whitney, born March 9, 1998, is a distinguished alumnus of East Ridge High School, in Clermont, Florida. An accomplished American track and field athlete, she specializes in sprinting events. Kaylin left her mark at the USATF Junior Championships, held in Eugene, Oregon, in 2014 by setting world youth bests for 100m and 200m sprints over a span of two days. Her 100m time was impressive 11.10 with an aiding wind of +0.9 mps, while her 200m time was a formidable 22.49, set with an aiding wind of +1.3.

Throughout her professional career, Kaylin has competed at various championships. In the 2016 United States Olympic Trials (track and field), she placed 16th in the 100 meters sprint with a time of 11.15 and 11th in the 200 meters sprint with a time of 23.03. Then, in 2015, at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, she finished fourth in the 200 meters event with a time of 22.47, and 17th in the 100 meters event, in which she clocked 11.18. The same year, she signed a contract with Nike.

Fast forward to 2021, Kaylin ran her career-best of 50.29 seconds in the 400m at the 2021 Olympic Trials, securing fifth place and a spot on the U.S. 4 × 400 m relay team for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
