Patricia Lynn Martin, 57, of Mishawaka, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2008, in her residence. Patricia entered this world on October 6, 1951, to Donald and Gerardine "Gerry" Jewett in New York. She enjoyed working for her sister Kathie's company, NACJ Investments. Her entire world revolved around her two daughters, Christine Lynn and Megan Elizabeth, raising them to be strong and independent women. She was a fanatical Dallas Cowboys fan, watching them religiously throughout the year. Her favorite time of year was Christmas, as she loved the hustle and bustle of the season, the lights, her decorations, and giving gifts to her loved ones. Survivors include her beloved daughters and son-in-law, Christy Slikas and Robert White of Bryan, Texas (she did forgive them for living so close to the Texas Aggies), and Megan Martin of Mishawaka; mother, Gerardine Jewett of South Carolina; three sisters and two brothers-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today in the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, enter off Cherry Road. Funeral services will be on Friday at 2:00 p.m., also in the funeral home.
