| About Me | I had a twin brother .I spent 6 years in choir. After graduating I worked several jobs finally landing with a chemical company in Monaca PA. I started in 1968 and left on disability on January 6,2007. I coached in the Bill Booth League from 1972 to 1978 I was in charge of the Northside Falcons. I also coach little league baseball and with the East Liverpool Potter Mites. I joined the East Liverpool High School Potters Football Team. I was first hired by Bob Babbage in 1978 and then I was hired by Glenn Southern I did several positions for the Potters. I was the trainer for Bob! He arranged for me to go work with the Pitt Panthers training staff for a summer and I eared a certificate and was certified at that job. I also worked with the 7th & 8th grade program. I also coached the reserve team on their away games! I later on filmed for the Potters Football & Basketball Team’s. In 2005 I was honored when Chuck Greenwood and Jimmy Joe Savage approached me about joining their broadcasting team to put together a crew to broadcast the East Liverpool Potters Football team life on air on the enter network. This was a very exciting opportunity to help put the Potters online. In 2004 a group of coaches approached me about putting together the East Liverpool lil Potters Football and Cheerleading team together. This was probably my most memorable thing I ever did in my sporting career. We started with nothing we needed everything new uniforms for both the boy’s and girls. All new equipment from head to toe and we had to find a league that would accept us. I look at 3 leagues the steel valley in the Youngstown area, the Eastern Buckeye League which In compass the Columbiana county area the last was the steel valley league which included teams from West Virginia and Ohio. The league that accepted us was the Eastern Buckeye. The initiation.fees for the Eastern Buckeye League was around $1,500.00 dollars which was latter refunded to the team after we stayed in the league for 2 years! Our first Head Football coach was Shawn Long and our First Cheer head coach was Angie Morris both did great at their jobs. In fact the whole Board of Directors made our first year totally amazing and I couldn’t have been surrounded by better people! We had dough ourselves into a pretty deep whole owing over $19,000.00 dollars, but in just 3 years we were in the black! This was a very proud moment for me and my board announced at our 3rd Banquet that we were deck free! I’ve talked way to long. I almost forgot that I eared the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 41 on September 7,1965 I eared 72 Merit Badges and I’m still involved with Scouting to this day.
