About Me	I was blessed with a wonderful family and privileged childhood. I grew up with my parents and 2 brothers; Mike and Bob. My father was a Grand Rapids Firefighter for 31 years and a volunteer Firefighter for Kentwood Fire Department, the city where I grew up. He also did carpentry work, painting and wallpapering. He was a master of many trades! He spent the spare time he had with us kids, often taking us to our favorite parks where we would toss the baseball around & then go to McDonalds...which was a favorite ritual of ours. My mother worked as a Nurse and worked in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit at Blodgett Hospital. They took us on family trips every summer to the Upper Peninsula and to many other parts of the country. I am so greatful for all I have been taught and given in my life and I thank God for my family childhood memories which I will treasure & cherish the rest of my life. :) Sadly, my father passed away very unexpectedly on August 9, 2005 and I haven't been the same since that day...he was and will always be my hero. 5 years and 12 days later I lost my precious brother Bob on August 21, 2010...he was just 41 years old and my buddy who I loved and was extra close to his entire life. :( I miss them both so very much it hurts and will miss them until we are reunited again one day. I married Dennis Avery on November 20, 1998 and we were doubly blessed on October 23, 2004 with my precious twins who are my best friends :) My little man, Jacob Edwin Harold (named after 3 very special grandfathers) came screaming into the world at 1:04 pm, weighing 7 pounds, 3 ounces. Two minutes later, my princess Danielle Renee' was born weighing 6 pounds 11 ounces. They were full term and I was very fortunate through it all, escaping morning sickness and had no stretch marks or complications...which was a blessing w/ twins.
