EJ ’63 50 YEAR REUNION UPDATE- JULY 2, 2012 I will be going to New Orleans on Aug 2 to work on the reunion. I am looking for any '63 grad that wishes to work on the committee(s). If you are interested, please advise at EJ63@bellsouth.net. If you know any ’63 classmates that may be interested in working with us, please have them e-mail me also. I am also still collecting names, e-mail & snail mail addresses and phone numbers. The first official meeting will be held at 1:00PM in Lake Catherine on Saturday, August 5, 2012, at Mary (Tucker) Bryan's "Camp" called "La Casa Del Lago" at 25736 Chef Menteur Hwy (Hwy 90), New Orleans (Lake Catherine). We welcome anyone that wishes to help in any capacity. As you can tell, distance is not an excuse, or a deterrant, as I live in West Palm Beach, FL. SO, COME ONE, COME ALL! Nothing is totally locked in stone at this time, with the probable exception of happening over the Memorial Day Weekend, so we welcome your input. DIRECTIONS: From Metairie- I-10 east to I-610 to I-10 east; take Exit 240B for US HWY 90 East/Chef Menteur Hwy (2nd exit from bottom of highrise bridge); merge on to Us Hwy 90E/Chef Hwy; continue on US 90E; you will pass Venetian Isles on your left and cross over the Chef Pass Bridge; you will be on the island. La Casa Del Lago will be approximately 7 miles on the right hand side of the road. DIRECTIONS: From Slidell- I-10 west to the last exit before crossing the 7 mile bridge- LA Hwy 433; go south on LA Hwy 433 to US Hwy 90 West (Chef Menteur Hwy); in approximately 1/4 mile cross the Rigolets Pass Bridge; you will pass Fort Pike on your left. Go approximately 1 mile and La Casa Del Lago will be on the left side of the road. Jim DeLand

We have had an extraordinary response from the 61, 62, 64 and 65 graduates. To date we have only opened the Picnic at Lafreniere Park and the Crawfish Boil at Southport to the other years. BEGIIATELY, ALL REMAINING OPENINGS IN ALL EVENTS WILL BE ON A “FIRST COME-FIRST SERVED” BASIS, and will be available to all years from 1961 to 1965. 1963 Classmates, this is YOUR REUNION. Don’t miss out because we ran out of space!
IT IS TOO LATE TO MAIL THE REGISTRATION TO THE WEST PALM BEACH ADDRESS.
You must now either 1) use the PayPal method of payment. Instructions are in the package and is the preferred method at this time; 2) Bring the completed registration forms and your check to Mary Tucker Bryan at the address in Metairie; 3) Come to the registration desk at the Marriott Lakeside in Metairie during the times shown in the package on Thursday and Friday; or 4) Pay at the door for each event (additional charges WILL APPLY).
Even if you are not able to attend, PLEASE COMPLETE THE REUNION INFORMATION PAGES SO WE WILL HAVE ACCURATE INFO FOR FUTURE EVENTS. But, you need to plan to attend! Your classmates are depending on YOU FOR THE SUCCESS OF YOUR REUNION.
