About Me	My maiden name was Beth Baber. I was born in San Diego near the ocean and the best zoo in the world. We moved to Kaysville, Utah when I was 6. Wow, that was a shock--absolutely no ocean! In 1958 before we moved to Anchorage, Alaska I made my dad haul out the map, and there it was the ocean. We got there on January 3, 1958. I was pretty amazed to discover that the ocean actually froze. Come spring, I learned that not all oceans are created equal. My dad checked around and took us all to Homer.
