Dick and I joined the Air Force together, along with 8 other guys from midyear class of 1961.
We were assigned to the same base after Air force basic training.
He died from lung cancer way too young. He was my best friend, and we had a lot of fun while stationed in Roswell NM.
I miss him a lot.
I was best man at his wedding.
His wife has re-married and lives in Northfield, Minnesota.
