Currently serving as the Battalion Commander of 5th Battalion 113th Field Artillery, North Carolina Army National Guard, John is an Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran and a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal. His current rank is Major and he is scheduled for promotion this year to Lieutenant Colonel.
