| About Me | After high school I went to Saginaw Valley State University and earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Political Science. When I completed my degree it was time to move back home (which during my time at SVSU, my parents relocated to Clinton Township, Michigan). I lived with my parents from 2009 until my mother passed away on Aug 23, 2013. Living in the house with all the memories of her was virtually impossible to stand, so my then, fiancé, Grant at the time and I moved 0.5 miles down the road from my father (so he would not be far away if he needed something). After renting an apartment for a year, Grant and I were throwing the idea around of moving to Ferndale, Michigan. My dad (who grew up in Ferndale) also tossed around the idea and "luckly," found a house 2-doors down from my 85 year old grandmother. He convinced us (last minute of course, due to time running out before we had to decided if we were gonna sign another lease) to move in together. We agreed because of the setup of the house he has his part (upstairs) and we are downstairs. This was in 2014 and since then, Grant and I got married in Hazel Park, Michigan on December 9, 2015.
