| About Me | We've been living in northern Arizona on 80 beautiful acres,for the past 15 years. YES, there is more to Az. than desert, we acually have trees and are heavily wooded with an occasional creek (when it rains/monsoons). I've become quite the horseman, raising horses and training wild mustangs, appaloosas, peruvian pasos, tennessee walkers, paliminos, quarter horses, P.O.A.s and other breeds. I've also been doing my custom woodworking on the side, making everything from custom doors, tables, millwork, to pool tables My wife, Joy and I built our house completely from the ground up all by ourselves. We live at 5,800 ft. elevation (about 20 degrees cooler than Phoenix). A half mile of our property borders a square mile of state land with the Kaibab national forest nearby. 30 miles north of us is the Grand Canyon, by the back roads, not the tourist trap south rim.
