About	Nada Rancich Poynter Nada Rancich Poynter, 64, of Clinton Township, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, in Warren. She was born Dec. 18, 1941, in East Chicago, Ind. Mrs. Poynter retired after 30 years of employment with East Detroit Public Schools. A graduate of Purdue University, she began her education career at East Detroit in 1969, teaching social studies and language arts. She was a member of the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Antique car club for 35 years. She enjoyed antiques, basketball and reading. Her family said she will be missed by Diana, Tessie, Brigid, and many other friends and former students. She is survived by her son, Alan (Claire); brother, Milan (Marlene) Rancich; and nieces, Melena and Marisa. She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Rebecca. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at S.K. Schultz Funeral Home, 21705 Gratiot Ave., Eastpointe, with the Very Rev. Zivan Urosev of St. Lazarus Serbian Orthodox Church officiating. Burial will be in Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia.
