| About Me | Most people who knew me growing up would describe me as being a shy quiet introvert or maybe even a dingy blond. I think with my birthsign being the sign of the twins I have more than one side but it got lost or stifled by being a middle child. I love writing, especially poetry and I have all these other ideas running around in my head just bursting to be written down into a book. Ever since I had one of my poems published I have wanted to write romance novels. I'm a true die hard romantic who loves the peace and quiet of the wide open spaces where the air is clean and the skies are blue. The sunsets are beautiful and where I can go outside and howl at the moon ( or run around half naked ) if I want to. As you can tell my heroes have always been cowboys growing up ( it came from watching the men in my life) . As a kid I remember my great grandpa and grandpa being these honest hardworking overall wearing farmers who loved and took care of their families. My dad was cut from that same cloth only for the longest time he wore wrangler's jeans until he retired from the telephone company before going back to farming. Grandpa winters taught me to appreciate nature and to respect the land and all that it gives us. I'm also very traditional or maybe its just my basic ideals are ... life kind of threw me some experiences that more than tested me and really put me thru the ringer and left me soaking wet. Oh did I mention I'm the only one in my family who is left handed... so they say I'm the only one in their right mind. If u know anything about my family your saying yeah right. Actually I'm ambidextrious, I write and shoot with my left hand but as far as I know I do everything else right handed. I kinds march or should I say stumble to the beat of my own drum, usually with only a rhythm I can hear or understand. I'm very much fascinated by my Indian heritage and want to learn more about the traditions, culture, and history. I'm also a dreamer... when I wake up I want to understand them, especially when some of them have come true.... ssshhh don't tell anyone about that part they might come for me with the butterfly nets.... if they do just make sure I have lots of books from romance to mysteries to the hot and spicy. I love a wide variety of music depending on the mood I'm in .... everything from smooth jazz and soft easy listening for when I'm mellow... my totally mellow that I loved when I started learning Swedish massage is music by enya.... the oldies have a soft spot for me cause at least I can understand what they are singing about without either all that screeching or loud bass or nothing but sexton and profanity. I'm a rbig country fan especially the more older traditional artists like Johnny cash Conway Twiggy, George Jones, George Strait, Don Williams, Lee Greenwood, Ronnie Milsap, Patsy Cline just to name a few. Today is actually one of my favorite holidays because for one day out of the year you can dressup and be anyone you want to be no questions asked.
