Senior Miles Locke and junior Kris McCain recieved state medals for outstanding performer at state competion. 1A to 5A schools competed, With 85,000 students competing for this honor. Mr. Locke performed a timpani solo and Mr. McCain performed a snare drum solo. Both young men are currently enrolled @ Blinn College. Both are music majors, Mothership Connection Drumline members and Symphonic Band members.

State Champions
November 14, 2009 - East Bernard Cross Country Boys and Girls went to State meet in Old Settlers Park @ Round Rock, TX. East Bernard boys took 1st Place overall and the EB girls took 3rd Place overall. Junior, Nick Guerra won 1st place with a time of 16:16 and was crowned 2A cross country champion. In the girls division Amanda Walters took 5th place and Kelsey Merritt took 10th Place.Congrats to both teams on a job well done. We are proud of you!!!!

Accomplishments 2007-2008
2007-2008 brought great accomplishments to our humble school. Our football team made it to the playoffs going 3 games deep before getting defeated by Refugio 21-14. Awesome!!!!
The drama department had alot to celebrate as well. The one act play reached if not mistaken the regional level which is wonderful. They also had several students reach the state competion.
Our high school band also advanced to Area level finishing 4th (top 3 go to state), but still they did great. Also, the band won Sweepstakes!!!!! They also had several students that made to state level.
Various records were broken in track to include winning 1st in District in Brazos . I believe it has been 20 years since that has happened.
The accomplishment of all accomplishments. The softball team won the 2A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP . It was a great ride for the girls,coaches, parents and all Brahmarette fans. Congratulations on job well done.
