Jim is currently serving a 15 month tour in Iraq. He is a Captain in the 3rd Battalion, 13th Field Artillery Regiment at Ft. Sill, OK. He is married and had his first child Jaxon Daniel Thornton on December 2, 2008. He is set to return this July and is looking forward to seeing his baby boy.

I have been stationed at Fort Polk, LA; Dexheim, Germany; Fort Drum, NY; Fort Bragg, NC; Fort Leonard Wood, MO, an note Fort Sam Houston, TX. I'm have been in the army for 22 years an plan to serve 2 more before I retire.
