| About Me | After college I taught school. I joined the DOD school system and went to Turkey to teach where I met my husband John a 2nd Lt in the Army. We have been married 41 years we stay in the Army for 30 years and when John retired he went to work in the space industry for SAIC and returned to CA. Over the years I traveled in Europe while living in Germany ( 2 different times) and was the Berlin Germany when the wall came down, a very historic night which I will always remember. I was nominated for Army spouse volunteer for the country of Germany in 1985 which I considered quite an honor. We finished our Army career in VA where my daughter came to be married. Since moving back to Ca I was blessed with a wonderful daughter in law. I now have 2 grandchildren my son's boy Nathaniel 5, and daughter's daughter Hannah 3. My daughter lives close by and my son is up in northern CA. I took a seven year Logos Bible class from a UCLA Professor and received a certificate for having the hours equivalent to a Master Degree. I teach Bible classes and sing with a group of women at our church retreats each year. WE moved my folks down here 3 years ago my Dad died last year in June so I assist my Mom when she needs me.
