Mark passed away at home in Arizona City Az with his longtime girlfriend (since 1983) Leticia and 2 dogs Mork and Jack by his side. In Nov 2012 mark was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and during a routine operation suffered a stroke. Mark was able to play music again, but had difficulty on a daily basis, and in Jan 2020 was having difficulty breathing and was not responding. Medics we're unable to revive him when they arrived at his home.
