Bob was a member of the first class to graduate from the new Edwin O. Smith High School, after spending 3 years at Windham High School. Following graduation, Bob served in the US Air Force during the Cold War, becoming a telecommunications specialist in Labrador and at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. In civilian life he attended the former Willimantic State College for a period, then was employed by the State of CT Dept of Transportation. He married and had one daughter. Bob continued to develop his IT skills and rose to the level of systems analyst, working for several large corporations in Connecticut and, for a period, in Arizona. A loving - and beloved - father, son, brother, cousin, friend, Bob passed away at 52 due to lung cancer.
