| About Me | Born in Lynchburg, VA, moved to Ankara, Turkey at age 10, Went to American School for four years, moved to Tel Aviv, Israel at age 15. Attended International School in Geneva, Switzerland for two years. Moved to the Washington. DC area in 1960 and graduated from Congressional High School in 1962. Moved back to Lynchburg, VA that summer and attended RMWC for one year. Married Bob Mathewson 2/8/64 and moved to Fort Sill, OK, then Fort Lewis, WA, where we had our first child, Katherine 7/4/65. Moved back to Lynchburg, VA for 13 months, while Bob served in Viet Nam. Moved back to Fort Sill, where our second child, Rob was born 4/21/68. The children and I lived in Alexandria,VA fora year while Bob served in Viet Nam, again. In Oct.1970 we moved to Pittsburg, PA for a year, then to Fort Monmouth, NJ for a year, after which we went to Izmir, Turkey to live for three years. There we had our third child, Ryan 2/5/75. That summer we moved back to Fort Lewis for five years and had our last child, David 10/1/77. In 1980 the family moved to Heidelberg, Germany for three years, and to Oberursel, Germany for two years.
