| Favorite School Memory | Most of my favorite memories in high school were playing sports. I had a blast being an athlete and I met so many great friends throughout my time at Durant. |
| About Me | I earned a volleyball scholarship to FSU. It was one of the most physically and mentally challenging experiences of my life. I had sooo much fun with my teammates and I learned so much about myself and life throughout those four years. I unfortunately had a career ending injury my senior year, I ended up having to get my heal reconstructed. After college I became the Director of Sports Information at a local college and an assistant volleyball coach where I met my wonderful husband Derek. I was then fortunate to begin working at Durant High School as the Head Volleyball Coach and Physical Education teacher. That was by far my favorite job ever. Teaching and coaching was so rewarding and being back at Durant felt like home. There were alot of the same teachers that were there when I went there and they were as nice as can be!
