Favorite School Memory	The staff and entire student body were such a warm and friendly contrast to the troublesome city and suburban grades of 2nd - 9th I had just come from. About Me	Right after graduation my parents moved us all back to California where I got a couple weeks work at a county fair then I joined the Army in July of 68. I went to Basic Training, Advanced Infantry Training, Airborne Training and Special Forces Training. I served 2 tours in Vietnam then a couple more years at Ft. Ord, CA where I met my 1st wife and my oldest daughter was born, tried college for a while, then re-enlisted for 3 more years. Then, I guess you could say I spent the next 20 years raising kids. I've been up here at the top of the state since 94 and I enjoy it very much. I've finished my A.S. degree, worked both state and federal in recreation, silviculture and archaeology. Climed Mt. Shasta 3 times with my kids and dogs (Its in my back yard, like the biggest ice cream cone on earth). Enough? LOL Aug 2012-update- 1400 square foot log home is almost done, well 3/4 of the way.
