Holding a loved one's life in your hands means that you have to accept a position of power even when you don’t want it......" I am a single mom of two little ones. Boy and Girl. My little guy is autistic, most people won't even use that term for him. But, their view of autism is Rainman which is only one side of the spectrum. My goals right now are to raise my children to the best of THEIR ability and to stabilize their home life so that they grow up with healthy self-esteem. Our lives have changed dramatically in the last few years, but we are much healthier now for it. Some people don't understand what our life is like right now, some don't care to know. Some people refuse to admit my little man is autistic. Some people believe it is a discipline issue. Those people are missing out on so much he has to offer.
