About Me	This is the Tin Can, I'm at large, Newt Gingrich's a twit, now here's Anita Baker on Merge98FM. :) Well, I must begin by clearing things up a little. I AM NOT FROM SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS. My name's Richard a.k.a Tin Can (my DJ'ing name on Merge98FM and on mobile gigs). I called myself Cowboy since 1998; I started that whole persona for two reasons: homage to my mother who was in a play at the Horizon Theatre called "Cowgirls" and rebellion against the prevailing culture at my old elementary school. The accent is real, but it's all Georgia. I apologize to anybody that I deceived all those years. I've spent almost eleven years of my life in south DeKalb county, ten more years in North DeKalb county, and the last 3 years in Atlanta were in beautiful Cobb county. I currently reside near San Antonio's Ingram Park Mall and my mama's still back in Tucker, GA. Here again I run an webcast named Merge98FM, accessible through www.merge98fm.com and clicking on the big logo. We'd undergone a evolution in our format where we've cleaned out much of the rap and techno crap from the playlist. We've been straying in a bit of an adult contemporary direction though we also play some alternative rock, R&B, and country as well. I'm one of the very few Libertarian Democrats in this nation.
