About Me | If you knew me in high school....well all I can say is that it was a nightmare that some how I lived through..On many levels there were things going on behind the scenes in my life , with my family....that manifested themselves outwardly, sometimes in odd ways...Sometime in ways hurtful to myself or others. Add in the natural stress of high school, and things are bound to get rough. All I can say is that the definition of "dysfunctional" and "angry" became much deeper to me...Its a funny thing what happens to your perspective when you have, as you are young ,a strong and nurturing family. Only to see it turned upside down, and all but destroyed..at The worst possible moment in time...Highschool! Everything for me came crashing down my first year of college. I had a 16 hour courseload. I failed everything that semester..I later moved in to my grandmother's farmhouse to regroup and move on...By that point in my life MOST of my family had either moved away, or was dead. My Mom and Grandmother were the only people left in the area. I empathise fully with those who wear the label of "misfit" "looser""Nerd "loner" or "geek"....I've been there, I've been through it all....I do not condone the violence done by some people who claim any of these "monikers", but I do understand their path...and to them I say-there is another way.... Yes, I will readily admit I suffered through many years of a critical case of "Beavis and Butthead" syndrome aggrivated by an accute case of Testosterone poisioning....somewhere in my twentys i started to crawl out from under that...for those who managed to cross my path at that time...well, i apologise....i probably did manage offend you one way or another...! I must admit though, I still cling to the 'lunatik fringe' a bit.... I'm glad to say I'm through that, I moved on..I got through college, I even managed a scholorship along the way. Best of all I found "the Girl" who would become my wife. Together we have set off along a new and different path together..we may make mistakes, but we will make different mistakes than what we have been through. I Endevour to put God first in my life with my family coming up very close in second. I wont do to them what I went through. I'm fiercely independent,I dont go along with the "crowd" on issues, events or attitudes. I do my own thing, on my own time. I think for myself! I dont 'go with the flow' I'm conservative, but I believe in accepting and treating all people with dignity-despite their views, orientation or station in life- even if they are at odds with my own! I seek balance and freedom for my mind. I find the teachings of Jesus personally and spiritually liberating. He followed no man in his life, no political power, His thinking and philosophy were "upside down" to conventional wisdom. him and only him do I follow and trust!!!!!!!! It's a typical "story" of "finding Jesus&q...(read more) |
