Sept 1966 Basic training in Cape New Jersey, A school (Damage Controlman) in Gotten Connecticut. then 2yrs in 14th CG Dist (Hawaii) 3 different ships, Buoy tenders Basswood, Iron Wood, Cutter Winnebago then back to Midwest (great Lakes) for last 9mo of active duty. Then about 10yrs reserve duty.

Dave grew up in Carpentersville and has faithfully served our country since graduating from Dundee-Crown in 1986. He is a highly decorated Army veteran having served in Afghanastan and more recently Iraq. Dave is expected to officially retire from the Army in March of 2009.

Our Dundee-crown High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Dundee-crown High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Carpentersville are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
