About Me	I have twin daughters, Pier and Courtney, who recently graduated (2012) from graduate school in NYC. Both are now engaged in summer fellowships and in the fall Pier will work in NYC and Courtney will live in Silver Springs, MD and work in Washington, DC. I am married to a Biology and Parasitology professor and department chair at Norfolk State University. I enjoy people, writing, reading, and art of all kinds. I am a political and news junkie. I recently retired and am committed to working for Pres. Obama's re-election. I am joining the ODU faculty in the fall as an adjunct clinical faculty member for teacher education. I also intend to travel and visit friends and places I have put off for far too long. I am blessed and very fortunate to have a great husband; brilliant, beautiful, intelligent and successful daughters; good, long- term friends; and a close, supportive family...
