Class of 1981
Marine Corps, 7 Years
Served in the 3rd Marine Division on Okinawa, Japan November 1981 until November 1982. Served in the 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton, Ca from December 1982 until April 1988. Dutie included communications, motor transport, security, and Marksmanship instructor. I served on three ships-The USS Frederick, The USS Okinawa, and the USS Junaeu. I also participated in joint training with The South Korean Marine Corps. I served with The 11th Marine Regiment.

In November 1982 I was re-assigned to 3rd Battalion 11th Marine regiment 1st Marine division, Camp Pendleton, CA and served until my discharge in 1988. I served in communications, Motor Transport, Special guard detail, and as a Marksmanship instructor.

I have served in the Marines Corps for about 10 years now and have had the opportunity to travel all over the world. My first four years of service i worked as a Motor Vehicle Operator aboard Camp Pendleton, California. I then cheanged jobs and have been working as a Topographic Intelligence Specialist. I deployed to Iraq in 2007 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and have been stationed outside Washington D.C. since.
