About	Passed away after a year long battle with aggressive prostate cancer... After graduation, Hal was hired by So. Calif. Edison as a groundman and retired in 2001 as a service crew forman. A year after he retired, he began a second career with PAR Electric and worked another 13 years as a construction coordinator. Hal loved camping and fishing.He enjoyed hunting with his boys and target shooting. He was a big fan of all his grandkids and didn't miss many of their volleyball or baseball games. He customized Radio Flyer wagons, and gave them to family and friends. His latest hobby was his 1948 Ford F-1. He really enjoyed driving it around town and getting a "thumbs-up" from many who crossed his path. Hawaii was his favorite vacation destination, making many trips and lots of island friends. Hal is survived by his wife, Susan Brooks, son Ted(Elaine)Brooks, daughter Debbie(Todd)Lair, son Dan(Katie)Brooks, step-daughters Lisa and Janet, 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Hal is greatly missed by all his "best-friends" and "favorites", Including his two Golden Retrievers, Pardner and Sailor.
