THIS IS HOMECOMING WEEKEND.
This informal gathering will be a wonderful opportunity to mix and mingle with classmates and catch up on all that’s happened since our 45th reunion (and beyond)! Dress as you choose! Run your own tab. More info on food to come.
Here’s what we need from you:
1. How many will be coming - please email 1970dgreunion@gmail.com - we’d love a ballpark by June 1 and a final count by September 1.
2. What else might you like to do that weekend - if you’d like to organize that activity - please email 1970dgreunion@gmail.com - we’ll work to help with the publicity. Examples are finding good deals on a hotel, DGHSN tour, Herrick JrHS tour, Saturday Picnic, Sunday brunch, etc. Currently none planned. This is homecoming weekend. If you are interested in additional activities, please suggest and we’ll help with the publicity.
3. You can help us by contacting/inviting 5 of our classmates who don’t use facebook and help us with contact information so we can reach out - please provide to 1970dgreunion@gmail.com. There are so many that are not on facebook and we don’t have the contact list any more.
4. It would be lovely to honor our “Gone, But Not Forgotten” classmates, but we no longer have the list. Please send the names of those you know have left us to 1970dgreunion@gmail.com.
FYI. Jan Cawley has kindly stepped in to organize this gathering. Some classmates have stepped in to fund the deposit. We just need a final count for the restaurant. If we exceed it - great. If we miss it, there’s a small charge we’ll need to cover.
