Stahnke, of Schaumburg, beloved husband of Theresa, nee Balawas; loving father of Barbara (Scott) Boulware, Carolyn (Dempsey) Carter and Phillip (Shani); proud grandfather of Syvanah Carter, Cassie and Andy Stahnke; dear son of the late Norma and Roland Stahnke; cherished brother of Frederick (Cynthia) Stahnke. He will also be dearly missed by his cats, Mona and Lisa. He was a Vietnam veteran. Visitation at the Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Rd., Schaumburg, 3 to 9 p.m., Friday. Funeral services 11 a.m., Saturday, June 9, at the funeral home. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated for VITAS Hospice, 580 Watersedge #100, Lombard, IL 60148.
