| About | Lawrence "Larry" Charles Fish, 81, of Rockaway Township passed away April 1, 2023. He was born September 6, 1941 in Dover. Larry was a graduate of Great Class of '59, from Dover H.S. and he received a Bachelors Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Larry retired from Pfizer in Parsippany where he was a Senior Buyer. Larry was an avid golfer and an enthusiastic bowler, earning numerous trophies and awards. He was a passionate fan of the Cleveland Browns until their move to Baltimore when he became a Baltimore Ravens fan. He was also a Philadelphia Phillies fan and Boston Celtics fan. Larry enjoyed going to sporting events and he often took members of his extended family with him to games. Larry married Mary M. Fish (nee Mitchell) of Denville in May, 1964; they were married 51 years. The couple resided in Rockaway Twp. for 40+ years and Larry continued to reside in Rockaway Twp. after Mary's passing in 2016. Larry is predeceased by his loving wife, Mary, his parents Lawrence and Elsie, his brothers, Robert A. Fish, Donald A. Fish, and William Brown, and his sister, Betty Dingman. Larry is survived by his sisters, Lorraine Heath of Ironia, Helen Belcher of Hazelton, PA, and Elsie (Sugar) Corby of Ironia, his brother and sister-in-law Augustus and Margaret Mitchell of Boonton. He is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews, 51 grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and 3 great-grand nieces and nephews. |
