Class of 1964
My story is about a teacher named Melvin Cade, mr. Cade was a mentor for many of us as a physical education teacher he coached the swimming team football team tennis team and fencing team and until his death in Texas while on active duty in 1963, the Douglas ducks synchronized swimming team This is my story , it's testiment to a great teacher who help shape so many young bays into young productive man doing the era of civil rights , and helped shapes so many of our lives that why today more than 50 years later I still honor his memory as a great teacher and leader.
As a note the Winchester Armory was renamed to honor, Lt Colonel Melvin Cade, Mr. Cade.
