| Favorite School Memory | All the friends I had so much fun with...that's priceless. I loved the concerts/bands we had in the Greek Theater, school dances, craziness in between our class periods (lol!...you who participated and were there...know what I mean! lol!) Great Teachers whom have left lasting memories deep in our souls! The 70's were "The Best" years D.P. ever had...so free...so innocent...So Much Fun! Anybody who is reading this, we can all agree, there were and are far too many favorite memories to have just selected only one...it just isn't possible NOR was it possible to select only one, for we all cherished zillions to last a lifetime! | About Me | I worked at Applied Magnetics, Info. Mag., Raytheon, as an Inspector, and Delco Systems Operations in Configuration Management and Data Management. I was married in 1973 to "Little" Mike Girvin (and still am of almost 35 years=2008), and had a beautiful Daughter named Rebecca in 1976 (who went to D.P. too and graduated there in 1994 and was a Matmaid, Frosh Cheerleader, Drillteam, Goleta Valley Days Festival Queen, Homecoming Princess, etc., etc., etc.,) and kept very busy with her activities. I attended Santa Barbara City College Adult Ed Software Applications Classes and have taken care of my Nana whom is now 98 years young until we recently moved to the San Diego area 3 years ago. I now enjoy watching my Grandson from Birth to present (now 3) fulltime 5 days a week, 10-12 hrs. per day....(read more) |
