Born on August 12th, 1965, to Robert and Eleanor Hutcheon, Charlene was one of five Hutcheon children to grow up in Goleta. A graduate of Dos Pueblos High School in 1983, Charlene attended Santa Barbara City College and Fresno State University before working for many years in the Property Management industry in the Thousand Oaks and Santa Barbara areas. A lover of the sun, Charlene enjoyed spending much of her time at the beaches of Santa Barbara just hanging out with family and friends. As an avid golfer, Charlene spent much of the past ten years playing as many area courses as she could, always searching for that elusive hole in one. Charlene is preceded in death by her father Robert and her brother Bradley. She is survived by Mother Eleanor, Sister Sharon (husband Mike, sons Grant & Bryan), Brother Doug (wife Melissa, Son Henry), Brother Jeff (wife Melinda, daughters Skylar & Haley) and Nieces Sophia and Hana. Charlene was an intelligent and compassionate woman who was capable of lighting up a room with her smile, and she will be missed by all who know her. The family has planned a private service for Tuesday August 26th in Santa Barbara. Donations in Charlene's honor may be made to the American Cancer Society, or to the charity of your choice.
