About Me	If Jeremy is not here and I am his mother, am I here, or am I just a shade.........? If my heart remains broken, am I a ghost? I am first and foremost, Jeremy Paster's mother. I'm married to the Best Man in the World, Tom, going on 19 years. I adore my sister and her twin sons and my niece, Jen. I'm crazy about my in-laws. My birth father disowned & disinherited me when he divorced my mother and my step-dad Irv, is my father to me - I love him a lot! My mom died at 46, soon after Jeremy was born. I'm a nurse, a massage therapist, a teacher and writer. I can be very childish, sarcastic and, occasionally, larcenous. I am also loyal, mostly honorable, faithful and funny. I have the most wonderful friends on the planet and I would do anything for each of them. I love my cat like a child. I love very dark chocolate. I exercise a lot, and eat a lot, too! I don't like watermelon, lima beans, okra or eggplant. I'm lactose intolerant. I was vegan for about ten years, but am not now. I love a good (not too sweet) cherry pie and anything with cinnamon, but I don't like most cake or any frosting. Outside of the people in my life, I'm most passionate about education, health care and the environment. I love the work Jeremy's community has been doing to save our rainforests and planet....I'm pushing for increased funding in prostate cancer research and in earlier diagnostic testing. I don't like dogma, so don't believe in a formal religion, although I was raised Jewish and love the heritage. I would still trade my life...(read more)
