My sister, Joy died in 1984 at the age of 37 from breast cancer. She achieved an RN degree, graduating with high honors, following her service as a Medic in the U.S. Navy. She liked the academics but made a career change to work as a mechanical/electrical technician shortly before she fell ill. She is buried in San Diego where she lived for fifteen years.
