Left Gavit (1963-67) for the army on September 7th, 1967. I took basic at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., ordered to Okinawa, then shipped out to Vietnam, with the 101st Airborne Division, A Shau Valley. After service, I studied, and received a BA degree from Purdue Calumet, and then went into federal service until I retired clear back in 2008! Life was a trip...no complains!
