About Me	I served in the U.S. Navy for seven years, straight out of high school. Now for the past 12 years I have worked for Current in a multitude of positions. I spent seven years in the U.S. Navy straight out of high school. I did two tours. The first three years were spent at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington. Then I transferred to Naval Air Station Miramar in San Diego, CA for the next 4 years. While I was at Miramar, I was attached to VF-51, which was an F-14A squadron. I did two cruises aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk. The first cruise was from November '92 to April '93. During that period, the battle group spent the early part of the tour off the coast of Somalia - just before the "Black Hawk Down" incident. Then, just before the new year, we arrived on station in the Persian Gulf, where we did perform an air strike on Iraqi targets in mid February, 1993. The second cruise took me the area between Japan and South Korea. That was from June '94 to December '94. The ports of call which I embarked on during my time in service were, St. Thomas, Argentina, Chile, Hawaii, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Bahrain.
