| About Me | After graduating from ETSU I lived in Elk City, Oklahoma and Omaha,Nebraska while my husband was in training with the Air Force. We then spent one year in Okinawa.When we returned to Kingsport, I taught for two years. We then moved to Asheville, NC where I was a stay-at-home mom with 3 daughters. In 1972 we moved to Huntsville, AL and I began several years as a parent volunteer in elementary schools. In 1999 I received my Masters from Alabama A & M. In 2000 my husband and I returned to Tennessee. I retired in July 2009 after teaching at risk students for DB, and am now in the process of remodeling our home.
