| About Me | After high school I tried college at UF. I lasted 2 quarters before being sent home. A few months later I joined the AF. I was stationed at Wurtsmith AFB near Oscoda, MI; KI Sawyer AFB near Marquette MI; Moody AFB, Valdosta GA; Malmstrom AFB, Great Falls MT. In Nov 1989 I left active duty and over the next 11 years I served in the Air National Guard in Arkansas, Missouri and Florida units. In 2001 I joined the USAF Reserve. My unit was at MacDill AFB in Tampa plus some time at Hurlburt Field near Ft Walton Beach. In my career, I have been TDY to Alaska, England, Germany, Biloxi MS, Koxville TN, Coronado CA, Norfolk VA, and the Pentagon. After 33 years in the military I retired 1 Feb 2011. I met my husband at KI Sawyer AFB and we married in 1982. Both of our sons were born at Moody AFB. Both boys married in 2006 and have given us 5 grandbabies.
