| About Me | My first husband was in the Coast Guard so we travelled quite a bit, living everywhere from an island in Alaska to the coast of Maine. He retired and ran away from home in 1998, so we divorced after 28 years. Meanwhile I graduated from George Mason University with a BS in chemistry, and then USF for the MS in chemistry. I worked for the water management district for 19 years, remarried in 2002, lost my job in 2012 during a reduction in force, then started teaching. I lost my second husband in 2015 to the long term effects of agent orange in Vietnam. I have been teaching chemistry and physical science at Saint Leo University since 2012 with no plans to retire.
