Our school is celebrating its 25th year of working to help kids grow up right and provide an exceptional education to our students. We are proud of our 2,600+ alumni and know how important you ALL our to our D’Evelyn community. As we commence our 25th school year, we are excited to begin building an alumni network. 2003 D'Evelyn Grad Earns PhD
Julianne Hatfield, a 2003 graduate of D'Evelyn High School, recently earned her PhD in Immunology from the Driskill Graduate Program at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, Department of Microbiology and Immunology. Dr. Hatfield's research work, recently published in Cellular Immunology, focused on examining the role of a type of white blood cell called a group 3 innate lymphoid cell in Multiple Sclerosis. Dr. Hatfield has recently taken a post-doctoral fellow position with Northwestern's Science in Society Office to pursue K-12 STEM education initiatives with underserved Chicago Public School students at the middle and high school level . Julianne will continue to live in the Chicago area as she shares her enthusiasm for scientific pursuits with the next generation of young scientists. Julianne is the daughter of John and Jean Hatfield formerly of Littleton, now living in Montrose, CO.
