DHS Wrestling Team in Need.

Calling all alumni to help fund the Desert High Unfunded Wrestling
Desert High School Alumni,

Last year the Desert High School (DHS) “Scorpion” Wrestling Program had a breakout season! Our team finished out the season with a 6 straight dual meet win streak! We also had a wrestler qualify for the Southern Section Masters tournament for the first time in 14 years. To top it all off, two former wrestler are currently wrestling in college, and another is currently attending the Air Force Academy. This year we have many new wrestlers and are excited to see what the future holds for the Desert Wrestling program.

In 2009 we experienced a complete cut of funding from the school district. Instead of allowing the program to end, the coaching staff and parent booster club elected to continue as a self-funded program. This means that we rely on fundraising and generous donations from people like you. In the past, donations have helped purchase first aid equipment, cleaning supplies, uniforms and even transportation to and from competitions.

Homecoming Game Time Changed

The October 10th DHS Homecoming Game time has changed to 6pm. JV's will play at 3pm.
