About Me | Working and having fun with friends. one of my girlfriends from a church I was attend in the late 1970's to the early 1980's. Met a nice gentleman from the McConnell Air Force Base was Station there for a while. Here at the base in the early 1982. By the fall of 1982, we were engaged to be married in the Spring of 1983. The date was set by us and a Catholic Chapel at the base chapel for April 27, 1983. And so began my life as Airmen wife/housewife and about a year later and mother to one of two beautiful daughters. We have been married for a little over 27 years at the present time. I have went to places that you read in a history of the Lewis and Clark trail. In and near Great Falls Montana. And seen places such as Fairbanks, Alaska, North Pole Alaska and place outside of Elison Air Force Base called Moose Creek Alaska. It is something I wouldn't trade for the world. I even got to see my husband's family in Allentown, Pa a year later. And did some sighting there and seen something different then the lifestyle in the state of Kansas for the first time in my life that I could recall. Our daughter Colleen was born outside of Great Falls Montana, at the Malstrom Air Force Base Hospital in November of 1985. Then we moved to Hill Air Force Base near Odgen Utah. And then to Colorado Springs Colorado at Peterson Air Force Base. The next move was to Elison Air Force Base near Fairbanks Alaska for 3 years. And last Air Force move was to Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. Where he retire from the United States Air Force in March of 2001. Found a job in Wichita Kansas. And we sett...(read more) |
