About Me	I've taught on the Navajo Indian Reservation for the Dept. of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs; taught in Maryland, Delaware, New Mexico, and Texas; Been an adjunct professor for the University of Maryland, Northern Arizona University, University of Phoenix, and Southern Nazarene University; have been state president of Arizona Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (AZ-TESOL); have received an Outstanding Alumnus of the Year 1976 award from Bethany Nazarene College, been on the National Dean's List; been the 1994 AZ-TESOL Educator of the Year; received the D. Scott Enright TESOL Interest Section Award in 2004 (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages, Inc. - The International TESOL Organization); received the AZ-TESOL Distinguised Service Award in 1999; served on advisory boards for the Dept. of Public Instruction in Delaware; served on a task force with the Arizona Dept. of Education, written ESL reading materials that have been used worldwide by the Church of the Nazarene.
