About Me	As a child we moved from the tiny town of Meris (in Hunt County, TExas) to Commerce for a year or so the to Greenville for 3.5 years, and finally to Denton.I arrived in Denton in the third grade an continued through high school and some colege. Along the way I married Bettye Reed and we had three children, David, Beth, and Laura. Also during th time I started working as an offset pressman (printer) and continued in that field for 12 years or so. All the time I was interested in Music and playing the guitar and hooking up with others that shared my interest.Betty and I moved to wichita falls around 1955 and I became acquainted with some professional musicians there and eventually started playing with Jesus Estrada. The band varied from 5 to 8 pieces. Jesus played alto sax and did some singing. We worked a lot at Shepherd AFB in Wichita Falls and Ft. Sill in Lawton. It was a fun band. I'...(read more)
